Always Add Light Studio is not for standard product photography. I offer conceptual photography and stop-motion for branding and marketing.
I give ideas a visual form through conceptual photography and stop-motion, creating experiences that invite interpretation.
Whether the starting point is a product, a service, a business or a creative project, I develop a visual approach through conversation, experimentation and my own way of seeing.
A product has character. I set the stage, add light and let it speak. Some products need a quiet stage. Others clearly have opinions.
Not every subject is a product. Some ideas cannot be explained with words alone. I create conceptual visual identities that communicate the character, values, and purpose of brands, businesses, and creative projects.
In a nutshell, working with me means working with my expertise, my way of seeing, and a practical creative process shaped by conceptual art.

I hold an HND in Photography and have developed my visual approach through years of formal study, experimentation and image-making.
How does a project work?
The project has clear stages, but the image-making itself remains intuitive, observant and responsive.

Send a short outline of your project, product or idea by email or phone.
Creative discussion
We arrange a conversation online, by phone or in person if local. This is where we discuss the project and what the work needs to communicate.
Brief & scope
We agree on the project direction, what will be delivered, usage, timeline, feedback stages and contract before creative work begins.
Conceptual approach & visual development
This includes research, idea development, test shots and experimentation. The visual direction is developed through image-making, guided by my experience, conceptual approach and way of seeing.
Feedback & refinement
You respond to the work in progress. The project is a collaboration, and your feedback is an integral part of the process. Adjustments or refinements happen if needed.
Final production
Final images are created, selected and edited.
Delivery
Finished images are delivered with the agreed licence.

Projects are quoted individually, based on scope, creative development, time, usage, deliverables and licence requirements.
