Visual Encounters
A series of conceptual trilogies.
Visual Encounters is a collection of photographic trilogies. Each trilogy is a small visual conversation in which relationships emerge between the photographs and their captions. I invite the viewer to slow down, make connections and discover whatever emerges.

The Trilogy Process
I reveal a subject’s character through observation while trying to keep my own ego out of the equation.
Sometimes I build conditions that allow something to happen.
The trilogies are frameworks, and the viewer’s perception completes the artwork.
